2 12 oz. cans of frozen Limeade2 cans of dark rum 2 oz. Amaro Meletti 2 cans of prosecco or champagne 2 cans of Simply apple 2 cans club soda 1 tablespoon cinnamon 1 tablespoon of pumpkin pie spice
Use your empty limeade can as your measuring cup. Mix all ingredients together. I came up with this drink for my cooking club. Make it in batches and store for impromptu gatherings. Being on the west coast fall is one of the seasons I miss the most, this drink transports me right back to the east coast. I like to garnish it with a slice of orange or apple. I used my custom made Lulu Powers stickers and tags to label my finished product. You can find my stickers and tags at Lulu's Store. I'm so excited to have my own personalized stickers and tags. I've been labeling everything in my pantry! I love them...check them out!

St. Patrick's Day LibationFill the blender halfway with ice and add one 12-ounce can limeade. 1 can (empty limeade can) gin or vodka, 3 baby persian cucumbers and 1 can fresh mint leaves and blend until slushy. Add 1 can soda or ginger ale if you need to stretch it. Serve it in any glass you want.
Lulu's Irish Soda Bread Ingredients: 4 cups all-purpose flour 4 tablespoons sugar 1 teaspoon baking soda 1 1/2 teaspoons kosher salt 4 tablespoons (1/2 stick) cold butter, cut into 1/2-inch dice 1 3/4 cups cold buttermilk, 1 egg, lightly beaten ½ cup dried cranberries ½ cup julienned apricots ½ cup crystalized ginger
Preheat the oven to 375 degrees. Line a sheet pan with parchment paper. Combine the flour, sugar, baking soda, and salt. In the bowl of an electric mixer add the butter and the flour mixture on low speed until the butter is mixed into the flour. With a fork, lightly beat the buttermilk and the egg in a measuring cup. With the mixer on low, slowly add the buttermilk mixture to the flour mixture. Now add the cranberries, apricots and crystalized ginger. Mix to combine. The mixture may seem a bit wet but dump the dough onto a well-floured board and knead it a few times into a round loaf. You may want to make 2 smaller loaves out of your dough. Place the loaf or loaves on the prepared sheet pan with parchment paper. Optional: Brush with egg wash: 1 tsp milk and 1 whole egg mix with fork. This will make your loaf shiny. Bake for 45 to 50 minutes, or until a knife comes out clean. Ideas: All divine! Serve warm with butter. Eat plain. Toast and put a triple creme brie on it with a drizzle of truffle honey.
My good friends Kim and Al own this fabulous restaurant in Beverly Hills called La Dolce Vita. Amanda the resident mixologist at La Dolce Vita created this incredible "punch" that they served at their holiday party. It was so good I had to share the recipe with you. 3 thin-cut peels of three lemons 3 heaping barspoons of Superfine Sugar 6 oz. Fresh Lemon Juice+ 6 oz. Grenadine* 4 oz. Simple Syrup 5 oz. Angostura Bitters 12 oz. Bourbon 16 oz. of Champagne Muddle the lemon peels with superfine sugar. Add the rest of the ingredients except for champagne and stir until sugar has dissolved. Add Ice and stir again. Strain over a large block of ice and top off with Champagne. Serves 12-15. * Grenadine: 3 parts to 1 part (Simple Syrup to Pomegranate Molasses) Boil Molasses first with 1 whole Vanilla bean that have been sliced on the side, several cloves, 3 cinnamon sticks, freshly grated nutmeg and a pinch of white peppercorns. reduce slightly, then add simple syrup (1.25 to 1 sugar to water). bring to boil, then cool and strain. +It's also extremely important to the overall flavor that the lemon be freshly squeezed. Tip: If you're in a bind and don't have time to make the grenadine you can use 1 1/4 cup of pomegranate juice in place of the grenadine.
