This is a menu from my Uncle Joe’s amazing vintage menu collection that he began when he was just a boy, growing up in Glen Ridge, NJ. When I saw the menus in the New York Public Library’s Digital Archives, it made me think of him. I just love how these menus give us a glimpse into what was popular among the “Foodies” of their day. (Hat tip: Elizabeth Passarella, The Kitchn)

Check out these beautiful cutting boards that are handmade on Martha’s Vineyard. I love how they have handles on the sides, which make it perfect to use it as a tray for charcuterie, cheeses, antipasto and fruit and nuts.
