I love Watermelon's !!! For Sneekys to a Tablescape

Watermelon's have so many uses for sneekys to tablescapes. Now  a days they are available all year around :

For a refreshing snack. I like to sprinkle my salt mixture on it.  

1 tsp kosher or Himalayan salt

1 tsp lime or lemon zest

1 tsp crushed peppers

Mix up and sprinkle it on.  I usually triple the amounts and keep it in a jar. This salt mixture is also great on a rim of a margarita Glass.  

It can also be used in just about everything.  

Keep it on hand.  

Ideas:

For gazpacho substitute watermelon for half the tomatoes. 

salads: watermelon balled or cut into chunks is great with a soft goat or feta. Some arugula and a simple dressing of equal parts lemon juice and oil with a splash of balsamic,Crushed garlic, salt and pepper

Watermelon sneeky:

1 cup seeded watermelon chuncks

1/2 cup tequila or vodka  

1 lime juiced

1 oz  St. Germain

Put all into a blender and blend.  

Place salt mixture into a saucer. Rub edge of glass with a lime wedge to moisten. Dip rim of glass in salt mixture. Tap off excess salt.  Fill rimmed glass with ice,pour watermelon mixture over ice. Garnish with whatever you may have on hand and enjoy.
