Peanut Butter Mess!

Crust

1 box nabisco chocolate wafers

1 stick butter,melted

Filling

1 cup skippy or jif peanut butter

8 ounces cream cheese

1 cup powdered sugar

1 cup heavy cream

1 tablespoon vanilla bean paste

1 tsp salt

Topping

Salted caramel Sauce

1 cup cream

2/3 cup brown sugar

2 tablespoons rum

1 tsp salt

Chocolate  ganache topping

1 cup bittersweet chocolate chips

1/2 cup cream

Whip Cream

1 cup heavy cream

2 tablespoons confectionary sugar

1 tsp vanilla bean paste

You can do this whole recipe in the CUISINART.

Combine the chocolate wafers and the melted butter in the Cuisinart until they are fine. Press the mixture either in a 9 inch pie plate or any dish you have that is a little bigger or about the same size. You can use a flat bottomed jar or glass to press the crumbs evenly over your pan. Put in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes.

Wipe out your bowl. Add the peanut butter, cream cheese which you can cut in chunks, powdered sugar, heavy cream and vanilla.  Blend blend blend until it's smooth and has a fluffy texture. Scrape the filling into the pie crust. Refrigerate for at least an hour. It is called the mess because I took it out after a half hour because I needed to try it. Yummy.

Next up

Salted  caramel sauce. Add all the ingredients in a pan. Heat  on medium high and constantly stir until it boils and gives your spoon a good coat. When done pour into a container. Don't wash pan.

Add the cream into the pan and bring to a boil. Turn off and add the chocolate. Stir stir stir until all combined and chocolate has melted. Pour into a container

Wash CUISINART. Dry well. Add cream and sugar to bowl. Blend for 1 minutes. Scrape bowl and continue blending until you can form peaks with your spoon. Easiest way to make whipped cream.

Learned how to do it this way when I was in a kitchen doing a sit down dinner. The only appliance they had was a CUISINART that had never been used.

Take "mess" out of refrigerator. Do a layer of salted caramel then the chocolate ganache. You can put whip cream on top or serve on the side.

I could not stop eating this.

Enjoy!!!
